- Mandatory by law every 5 years, within the calendar year in which this period expires (R.D. 919/2006).
- Your supply company will charge the inspection fee on your next gas bill.
The law makes it compulsory to check the gas installation in your home and/or community every 5 years, within the calendar year in which this period expires (R.D. 919/2006). In the case of single-family dwellings, there is no CRI and the IRI starts from the connection valve outside the dwelling.
The periodic gas inspection is regulated by state and regional regulations that guarantee the safety of the installations. The regulations in force are set out below:
Important: for these autonomous regions, the gas supply will be cut off from installations in which the periodic inspection is not carried out to check their safety and proper functioning.
