As an example, the use of biogenic CO2 from the biomethane upgrading process is being considered since, as a transport element for green hydrogen, it can be used throughout the current logistics chain of the natural gas network, transported and distributed through the network, stored underground and consumed by existing equipment without having to make additional investments. In this case, it becomes 100% compatible with natural gas.
