You can get in touch with our Customer Service Department by calling 900 100 252 to arrange another visit or call the technician that will be indicated on the poster hung on your property a few days before the scheduled visit.
What happens if I do not arrange a new visit?
Your natural gas installation requires some maintenance to ensure it is usable. Do not let the inspection go by, it is for your safety. If the inspection is not carried out, the competent body in your Autonomous Region will be notified and your natural gas supply might be cut off. Get in touch with our Customer Services by ringing 900 100 252 to arrange a new visit. The line is open Monday – Saturday, 8 am – 10 pm.
What happens if I don’t send the anomaly correction form?
We will not have any proof that the anomalies have been corrected and your installation will show as not complying with current legislation. The competent body in your Autonomous Region is periodically notified of the installations with anomalies and your gas supply could be cut off.
What should be done after the anomaly has been corrected?
Once the anomaly has been corrected, the authorised installer or your gas device's technical service must provide you with a copy of the anomaly correction form and send us a copy, scanned or in a full-page photo, through the private collaborators’ area on our website. Otherwise, you can send it to us by email to documentacioninspeccion@nedgia.es.
Who corrects the anomalies?
The installer or authorised company, or the technical assistance service. Remember that the installer who performs the inspection will not be able to repair the anomalies during the inspection visit.
What risks are involved when tampering with gas installations?
Tampering with gas installations is very dangerous for the person doing it, their household and their neighbours. It could leads to leaks, resulting in possible fires, and in extreme cases, explosions.
Is gas fraud classified as an offence?
Articles 255 and 623 of the Criminal Code define energy fraud through tampering with installations or meters as an offence and a felony, and establish penalties.
Does committing natural gas fraud affect other consumers?
Users who commit energy fraud cause financial harm to other consumers as the current configuration of the tariff framework offsets gas loss by increasing the quarterly prices set for general-access tariffs.
